Friday 19th July - Gunning - Hickey Falls (924)

Early brekkie and then off to Dubbo.  Rain, Rain, Rain and more Rain...... not pleasant driving up the Lachlan Valley Hwy towards Cowra. Hope to drive out of it soon, MT at Canowindra and still more rain.  The country is looking lush with all the dams full and even a few fruit trees in the gardens of farms starting to blossom already.  Baby lambs everywhere and even saw a black & white spotted lamb today which I thought was very unusual, haven't seen one of those before.  Listening to good old "Country Music" at the moment on the local radio station - Barry loves it!!!!!.me not so.......Have pulled in for the night at camp spot 924 Hickey Falls which is a lovely spot off to the side of the highway.
This is the spectacular Hickey Falls at the back of our caravan.
