Woke up this morning and headed into the Mossman Market for a stroll around and hopefully to pick up a bargain or 2.....Max & Carol stayed at the Caravan Park and Barry & I managed to snap up a couple of books at the Op Shop as well as another top for me from my favourite stall in the market. (Couldn't resist!!!!) Have had a different day today with Max & Barry going down to the beach with George and his grandkids to throw in the Bait/Drag Net to see if they can catch a fish or 2. The tide was right out so they managed to get a Jumping Cod as well as a Sole. There were also some reasonable sized "Female" crabs which they threw back. At happy hour tonight we met up with new neighbours in the caravan next to us, Nigel & Raelene from SA.
In the caravan park so far we have seen, a Peacock, a Monitor Lizard, a Pointy Nosed Bandicoot, a Kookaburra eating his dinner in the gum tree next to us, Scrub Turkeys and the latest is 2 Tawney Nosed Frog Mouthed Owls sitting in the tree not far from our caravan. Hopepfully we WILL NOT see the 14 foot Crocodile that lives down the way in the Estuary that feeds into the sea.
