8.30am and the guys have headed off with a packed lunch to
go fishing and collect the crab pots put into the Daintree yesterday. A glorious day today and the walk along the
beach to collect our shells is like walking in paradise. The sea is calm, the tide is out and the beach
is beautiful with the rainforest along
the edge of the sand. While we were
walking today we saw a motorised hang glider working their way along the beach.
I should really take my camera with me
but never think of it until I see the pictures I could be taking. The guys arrived back around 2.30pm with a
crab, 2 fish Max caught & 1 fish for
Barry (which he thinks is the prettiest!!!!)
They went out towards a little Island off the coast called Snapper
Island. Barry got lots of pictures of
crocodiles on the edge of the river and also some of Snapper Island. Barry thinks he is becoming quite the
fisherman……filleting fish and being able to cut the heads off without
squirming.
