Tuesday 20th August - Bramston Beach Caravan Park

HOORAY…….The mighty fisherman has caught his first decent fish.  A “Threadfin Salmon” and a good size.  Unfortunately he cut the head off before I could get a photo but I think Barry maybe on a roll now so maybe tomorrow he will come back with another big one. The rest of the day was spent with Barry & Max working on getting the Rod Holder onto our caravan.  First they went into Innisfail and bought the gear they needed, then they attached the Rod Holder (as per specifications!!!!).  Then they went back into Innisfail to gather more gear, they had come up with a much better idea, so, off it all came and the new version was installed at last.  Big day for both of them.  Lucky we had a magnificent Threadfin Salmon for dinner, yummy.
The days here are absolutely spectacular, sunny, warm, balmy nights.  Could not ask for any more. Carol & I go for our walk every day looking for just the right shells when the tide goes out.  Today was not a good day but we have our fingers crossed that tomorrow will be better.
