No wind this morning as we packed up the caravan at Elliott Heads and took off towards a free camp near Kingaroy. Beautiful day after a terrbile night that saw us pack up the awning and everything outside the caravan because of the horrendous winds. We are heading south now, so it feels a bit like the trip is coming to an end. Max & Carol will probably head off home on Monday (23rd Sept) which will bring our 9 fabulous weeks together to an end. Today as we arrived at Ban Ban Springs an arrogant prick decides he wants to pull out in front of us as we come to a "T" intersection, then abuses us for not letting him go. He is coming out of a parking area, we are on a Highway coming down a hill with nearly 3 tonne of caravan behind us and he decides to try to pull out in front of us. Had to wind down my window and give him a piece of my mind - IDIOT.....MT at Biggenden where I had to try out the "Pec Dec" exercise equipment in the park opposite to where we stopped. No way I could push the bars forward, I couldn't get my arms behind me far enough to grab hold of the handles. Barry could "smart alec". Then it was on thru Wondai - a lovely little town, Tingoora, Wooroolin and into Kingaroy. Have arrived at the free camp and there is no one here - YIIIIIPPPPPEEEEE. Camp fire and the place to ourselves. A great way to finish our time with max & Carol.
