Sunday 8th September - Lake Elphinstone (Free Camp 81)

A couple of nice relaxing days here at Lake Elphinstone catching up on a lot of reading, so nice.  Wake in the morning to the sound of speed boats racing around the lake with water skiers, wake boarders and kids on donuts.  I think it is a little busier because it is the weekend and there are people here from Glenden and probably also Collinsville. We have had a campfire last night and tonight and thoroughly enjoyed sitting around it until bedtime.  I can't believe the insects here that are attracted to the light.  Millions of them buzzing around the caravan.  They look like mosquitos but thankfully they don't bite.  Tomorrow we are heading off to our next free camp, heaven only knows where.  As soon as we find something, we will stop.
