Today we are packing up and
leaving Etty Bay and heading further south.
Not sure yet where we will end up.
The day is lovely and warm and the destination so far is Bushy Parker
Park at Rollingstone. Unfortunately we
missed the turn off so kept on going down to Balgal Beach to have a look. There were so many caravans in there and also
lots of day trippers being Sunday so it was very, very crowded and not nice at
all. So on we went towards Toomulla
Beach which is 43 kms North of Townsville.
This is the little camp we stayed at with Maree & Paul on our last
trip back home from the Gulf. This is
the camp where we met up with Ken & Sabina. Looks like we may stay here for
2 nights before heading down to Bowen.
We have already been for a walk along the beach. The beach is revolting but the shells are
amazing. The guys are also hoping that
this may be a good spot for a bit of fishing.
